By accessing and using BrickLogic ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. BrickLogic is provided solely as an educational and informational tool to facilitate mathematical simulations for property investment scenarios. It is not intended for use in making actual investment decisions.
The Service provides mathematical tools and calculators that produce numerical results based on default assumptions and user-inputted data. All content, including calculations, estimates, and analysis, is general information only.
The Service has been prepared without taking into account your specific objectives, financial situation, or needs. You should not act on any information or output from the Service without first obtaining professional advice from a qualified financial adviser, solicitor, or accountant tailored to your individual circumstances.
In accordance with ASIC Regulatory Guide 167:
Any property price estimates or Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) are generated by computer-driven mathematical models without physical inspection of the property. BrickLogic makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, currency, or completeness of such data.
The Service contains "forward-looking statements" (including words like "anticipate," "project," "forecast," or "estimate"). These are expressions of opinion regarding potential earnings only and are not historical facts. Actual results may differ materially from these projections due to interest rate changes, government policy shifts, and market volatility.
Where the Service provides estimates for a period of two years or more, those estimates may be displayed in "present value" terms. You acknowledge that the value of money changes over time and that future projections must be adjusted for inflation and the time value of money.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). However, where the Service is not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, BrickLogic's liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee is limited, at its option, to the re-supply of the Service or the cost of having the Service supplied again.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of BrickLogic and its related entities for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service (whether in contract, tort, or statute) is limited to $100.00 AUD.
In no event shall BrickLogic be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to:
Your use of the Service does not create a fiduciary, solicitor-client, or professional-adviser relationship between you and BrickLogic. We are not your financial planners or agents, and we owe you no duty of undivided loyalty or conflict-free advice.
In using the Service, you agree not to:
The Service may integrate data from third-party sources (e.g., government authorities or property data providers). BrickLogic is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content or for any transactions between you and third parties (such as brokers or lenders) contacted through the Service.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. BrickLogic is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account unless caused directly by our gross negligence. The internet is an inherently insecure medium; use of the Service is at your own risk.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be "read down" or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BrickLogic regarding the Service and supersede all prior discussions, marketing claims, or verbal promises.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your Australian state or territory.
